Sure, the Optimus G is a great phone, but wouldn’t it be better with one of LG’s new 5-inch 1080p displays? Today, Japanese carrier NTT Docomo is unveiling the Optimus G Pro, a bigger, beefier device that aims to compete with the new crop of HD phones from the likes of Sony and HTC. And on the surface, it’s an improvement.
The LG Optimus G Pro sports a 5-inch, 1080p display. It was unveiled by Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo. The 5-inch screen has a 440 pixel per inch (ppi) display, compared to the older version which had a lowly 4.7-inch display and 312 pixel per inch (ppi). The market is beginning to get crowded with large, high-resolution smartphones, and it is good for everyone.
